Application Deployment
Deploying software on networks of all sizes
We have been involved in application integration, packaging and deployment for over 8 years, several operating systems and numerous technologies. We can design, implement and support software distribution systems. Develop and maintain quality assurance processes.
Deployment Coordination
Whether 5 machines or 55,000 machines, we have been involved in deployment architecture, implementation and administration.
Deployment Environments
With both a strong in-house experience level and our pool of specialists vetted sub-contractors we have the knowlege and experience of almost any system on the market.
"Active Directory"
Typically the solution that we reccomend in most cases as it benefits from having been designed with modern installation technologies.
Deployment
Active Directory can integrate with your network and user configuration by using AD to automatically install software as the user's, or the machine's, circumstances are changed. Such as moving from one department to another where different specialists applications are required.
Configuration
In adition to installation AD Policies can be created to control various aspects of the applications such as configuration & security settings.
Systems Management Server
Whilst an older technology it has advantages in terms of feedback and analysis of what has successfully (or not) been installed on your client machines.
Deployment
Administration and deployment experience in complexe multi-site environments.
Analysis
Experience in using SQL interogations of the SMS data to produce automated reports for management requiring no knowledge of the SMS system on their part.
DFS & FRS
These anonymous accronyms refer to Distributed File System and File Replication Service. Two technologies that used in conjunction with AD, SMS or other istribution tools can substantialy enhance deployment and increase resilience
DFS
This allows your data (in this case an installation) to be located on several seperate servers in such a way that if one becomes un-available another will transparently take it's place.
FRS
This allows your data (in this case an installation) to be automatically copied between servers in different locations so that the files are near to those that need them whether in the same office as you or in a different country
Other Technologies
Above are common examples but with the pool of experts available to us we can source the experience to cope with almost any system.
